It’s hard to believe it’s been almost five years since Ghost of Tsushima hit PS4. Now the wait is nearly over as its sequel, Ghost of Yōtei, launches on October 2, 2025.

Here’s what’s in every edition, including the new Collector’s Edition, and where you can pre-order ahead of release.

Ghost of Yōtei Collector’s Edition

A limited release, and only available from PlayStation Direct, the Ghost of Yōtei Collector’s Edition is chock-full of additional physical goods.

The headline inclusion is the Ghost Mask, modelled after the one Atsu wears in the game, which comes on a display stand.

Also included are art cards, a coin game and pouch, a tsuba, a sash, and an adorable papercraft Ginkgo Tree.

It’s worth noting that the Collector’s Edition doesn’t include a physical copy of the game, but instead includes the Digital Deluxe content found above, as well as the pre-order bonuses for the base game you can find just below.

Ghost of Yōtei’s Standard Edition, as you can probably tell, includes the game, but there are some pre-order bonuses to check out as well.

These include seven PSN avatars of Atsu and the Yōtei Six, as well as an in-game mask.

As we’re still talking pre-orders, there are no discounts yet, but retailers will honour the lowest price if you place an order now.

The Digital Deluxe Edition, as the name suggests, it’s only available via the PlayStation Store.

It includes a digital version of Ghost of Yōtei, as well as additional armour for Atsu based on The Snake, additional cosmetics including a unique Armor Dye, Charm, and Horse and Saddle, and an in-game sword.

Players will also unlock the Traveler’s Maps earlier in the game than they would otherwise.

What is Ghost of Yōtei?

Ghost of Yōtei is a sort of spiritual sequel to Ghost of Tsushima, set 300 years after that game.

If you’ve not played its predecessor, you won’t need to in order to get the most out of Ghost of Yōtei—Sucker Punch has said its latest epic is standalone.

Players take on the ghost mask of Atsu, as she hunts the six people responsible for the deaths of her family in Northern Japan.

It marks Sucker Punch’s PS5 debut, with the studio previously porting Ghost of Tsushima and its multiplayer mode, Legends, to the latest console.
