The US Federal Trade Commission has reopened its process for Fortnite players to claim refunds for unwanted purchases.

The FTC said it provided over $126 million in compensation last week, having sent 969,173 checks and PayPal payments to those who filed a valid claim.

Those who have not yet submitted a claim can do so by July 9, 2025.

Last December, the FTC issued its first round of refunds providing more than $72 million in payments.

Overall, the FTC has issued over $200 million to players affected by deceptive practices used by Epic Games.

In 2022, the agency reached a settlement of $520 million with Epic for violating the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and dark patterns tactics.
