Following its record-breaking and rather chaotic run at the cinema, Warner Bros has announced a streaming release date for A Minecraft Movie.

The Jack Black and Jason Momoa-fronted adaptation will be available digitally across the likes of Amazon Prime, Apple TV and Fandango at Home from 13th May. That’s this coming Tuesday, if you want to get your Chicken Jockey warm-ups started.

For those more fond of DVDs and Blu-ray discs, A Minecraft Movie will be available to purchase in physical form from 24th June.

A Minecraft Movie debuted last month, generating $301m worldwide on its first weekend. It has been such a success that there are already talks about a sequel, and director Jared Hess has teased where the film series could go next.

“Lovely performances elevate a movie that captures Minecraft’s many bits and pieces but not its creative spirit,” Christian Donlan wrote in Eurogamer’s A Minecraft Movie review.
