Death Stranding 2: On the Beach will cost £70/$70/€80 for the standard edition and $230 for the collector’s edition, according to a new leak, with “several physical editions” also teased.

What, exactly, that collector’s edition includes has yet to be detailed, but noted leaker billbil-kun believes it’ll be available in the US and Europe, even though no European/UK pricing is available just yet.

The leak comes just hours ahead of Death Stranding 2’s creator Hideo Kojima’s SXSW livestream, at which the release date is expected, with Billbil-kun hinting pre-orders will open “imminently”.

Sony recently updated the PlayStation website listing for the sequel with fresh details hinting at how it will play.

“Expect the unexpected,” it reads. “Sam – with companions by his side – sets out on a new journey to save humanity from extinction. Join them as they traverse a world beset by otherworldly enemies, obstacles and a haunting question: Should we have connected?”

Kojima skipped the PlayStation State of Play earlier this month, but will host a panel later today at SXSW, where he’ll be joined by actors Norman Reedus and Troy Baker, as well as musician Woodkid.
