Gamescom 2025 is apparently set to break records, after the organisers confirmed they’re 11% ahead on exhibitor bookings over last year at the same time.

New exhibitors announced for Gamescom 2025 include CI Games, Disney+, Electronic Arts, Giants Software, Headup, Kalypso, Konami, Lego, Level Infinite, Marvelous Europe, Netflix, Paramount, Sega, and Tencent Games.

The demand for exhibition space means that the public-facing entertainment area of the Koelnmesse will now also encompass Hall 8, with the indie area expanding to include Hall 10.2. A dedicated event arena will be in Hall 1.

To account for the sheer amount of space at the venue, Gamescom is introducing a location finder for mobile devices to help attendees get around. This will roll out on August 20.

Opening Night Live, co-hosted by Geoff Keighley and Eefje Depoortere, which returns on August 19, will feature Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 – the first game confirmed for this year’s livestream. Esports events will also expand this year.

Gamescom director Tim Endres said “gamescom 2025 will be bigger, more thrilling and once again the beating heart of the global gaming community”.

The complete list of confirmed exhibitors for gamescom 2025 is as follows: 2K, 9gag, aerosoft, astragon, Asus, Bandai Namco, Beans entertainment, Bethesda, Bilibili, Blizzard Entertainment, Capcom, CD Projekt Red, CI Games, Disney+, Electronic Arts, Fandom, Focus Entertainment, Freaks 4U Gaming, Giants Software, Headup, Hoyoverse, Inven, Kalypso, Konami, Krafton, Lego, Level Infinite, Marvelous Europe, Meta Quest, Netflix, Nintendo, Paramount, Pearl Abyss, Roblox, Samsung, Sega, Super Crowd, team17, Tencent Games, The Game Business, The Pokémon Company, Ubisoft, Wargaming, Webedia, and Xbox.

Gamescom 2025 takes place from August 20 to August 25.
