JustEat now lets you order from CEX

Second-hand gaming specialist CEX now lets you order items on JustEat.

The UK high street chain is the latest non-edible option on JustEat’s ubiquitous delivery app, and now offers games, consoles, cables and controllers to buy and have turn up at your door.

The idea here is that we’re all getting impatient for games – or replacement items if something breaks, or we don’t have the right cable. To cater to this, CEX says it is able to deliver via JustEat in “around 30 minutes”.

“We’re delighted to expand the reach of CEX to millions of Just Eat customers, making it even faster for them to get the tech treats on demand,” CEX boss David Butler said.

A list of best-selling items from CEX sold via JustEat includes lightning and HDMI cables, PS5 controllers, and copies of Grand Theft Auto 5. You could also download games digitally, of course – but second-hand copies are typically much cheaper.

It goes without saying that you’ll need a CEX near you for this to work, but the chain is now pretty common across the UK. JustEat, meanwhile, says it now covers 97 percent of the country, with around 18 million UK customers.

And then there’s the elephant in the room – that CEX stock is second-hand, so you may have questions about whether this stuff is clean enough to eat your dinner off. If you’re not happy with your JustEat item, CEX says, its five-year warranty applies.

So, what will you be sampling?
